Seven bar bites, seven mixology cocktails, seven standard pours of wine, all $9 each. Perry's calls it Social Hour 79, and it runs Sunday through Friday from 4 to 6:30pm at Bar 79 inside the downtown location on West 7th.

The pork chop bites are the order. Perry's famous pork chop shows up in happy hour form alongside sliced filet sliders, and at $9 they're the cheapest way to taste what the kitchen is actually known for. The wine pours come from Perry's Reserve list, so the flat price is doing real work there too.

Perry's happy hour downtown fills a specific niche: a quiet, upscale room in the historic Norwood Tower where you can have a proper drink and a real bite without committing to steakhouse dinner prices. Sunday availability is the sleeper detail; most downtown happy hours go dark on weekends, and this one doesn't.
