Six-dollar cocktails at a pre-Prohibition style bar with this much technique behind the stick should not exist, and yet Péché runs them Tuesday through Friday from 4 to 7pm, with half off select food alongside. Then it gets better: Sunday and Monday, happy hour runs all night.

The all-night windows are the real story. Most downtown bars go dark on Sunday and Monday or phone it in; Péché treats them as full happy hour nights, which makes it the standing answer to "where do we go on a Monday." The $6 cocktails come from bartenders who take the classics seriously, absinthe service and all.
