The oyster program typically features up to a dozen varieties, and getting them at half price is one of the better moves you can make on Dirty 6th. This is not a bar that happens to serve food. Parkside is a legitimate seafood restaurant with a serious kitchen, and happy hour lets you eat through the menu without the full dinner commitment.
Parkside happy hour sits at the quiet end of East 6th, far enough from the chaos to feel like an actual restaurant but close enough that you can walk there from anywhere downtown. The bar seats fill up fast with regulars who have this on their weekly rotation. Get there by 4:30 or plan on waiting.
