About

Half off every drink in the building is the kind of math that makes downtown work again. La Condesa runs it Monday through Friday, 4 to 6pm at the bar: 50% off all drinks plus $3 tacos. That includes a margarita program that's been a 2nd Street anchor for over a decade, so half price puts a top-shelf marg at neighborhood-bar money.

The $3 bar tacos are what keep it from being just a drink stop. Order three, add a half-price mezcal cocktail, and you've had dinner in the Warehouse District for under $20, two blocks from whatever you're doing next.

Weekends flip the schedule: Saturday and Sunday run a late-morning happy hour from 11am to 2pm, built for the brunch crowd that would rather skip the bottomless gimmicks. La Condesa happy hour pulls downtown workers at the front of the window and showgoers at the back. Bar seats only on weekdays, so come before 4:30 or befriend whoever got there first.
