Half off every glass of wine is a strong way to open a happy hour, and Honey Moon backs it up. Tuesday through Friday, 4 to 6, you get half-price wine by the glass, $2 off house cocktails and beer, and $4 off select food. Wednesdays go further: bottles of wine $60 and up drop to half price, which puts some genuinely good labels in reach.
Tucked onto West 34th near campus, the room runs warmer and quieter than the bars closer to UT. There's art on the walls, real glassware, and a bar team that treats execution like it matters. The crowd skews a little older and more there-to-talk than there-to-pound-drinks.
